Password Policy

In the Password Policy section, you can configure the strength requirements for user passwords across all Organizations.

It is applied to various scenarios, including the signup process, changing passwords under user accounts, and resetting forgotten passwords. The policy ensures that users follow the specified guidelines when creating and updating their passwords.

Password Policy Fields:

  1. Min Length: Defines the minimum required password length.
  2. Max Length: Sets the maximum allowed password length.
  3. Capital Min Length: Specifies the minimum number of uppercase letters required.
  4. Number Min Length: Determines the minimum number of numerical digits required.
  5. Special Symbol Min Length: Sets the minimum number of special characters required.
  6. Allowed Special Symbols: Specifies the special symbols allowed in passwords.

Password policy

In order to create or update the password policy. You can do the following:

  • First, open the Password Policy section.
  • Then, in the available fields, define the values.
  • And once you're done defining the values for password strength, click the Update button.

Setting Password Policy

This will apply the new changes to the password policy to create, update or reset the forgotten user passwords across the platforms for all the users.
