Account

The Account section of the Admin Console allows you to make changes to your admin profile. It provides you with the option to easily update essential details that need to be updated from time to time or whenever needed.

You can update your name, company info and password with just a few steps. The following sections cover them in detail.

How to edit admin profile

  • To edit your admin profile, you need to log in to your Yappes Admin Console using the link provided to you.

  • Once you log in to the platform, you can find the dashboard as follows.

  • Here, go to the user icon in the upper right corner titled after your name and click on it.

  • Then, click on the Account option.

  • As you click on the Account option, you can see a popup on the screen similar to the following screenshot.

Using the options available in the popup, you can make changes to your Personal and Company Info. Follow the below sections to learn how to do that effectively.

Make changes to your personal info

  • To change your personal info, go to the Personal Info section, then, in the First Name and Last Name fields, make your changes.

  • After editing your personal info, click on the Update button to apply changes.

That's it; you've successfully made changes to your personal details.

Make changes to your company info

When the invoice is generated for the API Partner Organization, it will include your company info. Therefore, it's necessary for you to update your company details in the Account.

  • To change your company info, go to the Company Info section, then, in the available fields, enter your details as appropriate.

  • Once done, click on the Update button to apply changes.

That's it; you've successfully made changes to your company details.

How to change your password

  • To change your password across the platform, you need to access the Account tab. Therefore:

  • In the top right corner, click on the button named after you.
  • Then, select Account.

  • As you click on the Account option, you can see a popup like the following,

  • Now, go to the Personal Info section → and click on the Reset Password button.

  • As you click the button, you can see new fields.

Resetting the Password

  • Here:

    1. First, enter your old password.
    2. Then, enter your new password.
    3. Enter the new password again to confirm.
    4. Once done entering the password, click Reset Password.

That's it; you've successfully changed your password.

Tip

While you enter your new password, ensure you follow all the rules you see regarding creating a new password.
